Misleading

A few years ago, I went for a consultation for a divorce. She led me to believe that there would be no problems with her taking my case and pursuing this divorce. She even had me spend an additional $300 for another (unnecessary) consultation, totaling $600 just in consultation fees. After no communi...cation for a while, I contacted the office, and her paralegal informed me that she would NOT be taking my case after all. They would not answer any of my questions or allow me to speak to Meador. I was only told that difficulties would arise because the ex was in another state. However, afterwards, I hired an EXCELLENT attorney who informed me that there would be NO difficulties and that it sounded as if this attorney just decided not to proceed. (But she had no problems taking her exorbitant fees from me.)
