Thorough and Knowledgeable Nonprofit Attorney
We hired Joe on two occasions to review our Employment Handbook and a contract. He responded to our phone calls quickly, he finished the work in a timely manner and gave us more than we expected. He knew a lot about nonprofits and made us feel comfortable.
"Mr. Werner is a talented attorney who has garnered experience after working in numerous governmental positions that has taken him to different places in the country. He has superior advocacy skills."
"I first met Joe over ten years ago when we both attended law school together at the University of Miami. As a student, Joe was extremely diligent and eager to succeed, even graduating early to begin working for the State Attorney’s Office near Tampa. He now brings the same intensity and work ethic to his work in private practice in Nashville. Joe is an excellent lawyer and I highly recommend his services."
"I first met Mr. Werner as a PD while he worked as a Prosecutor for the Pinellas County State Attorney's Office. Joseph is incredibly passionate and aggressive in advocating his position. Clients seeking to retain Joe as counsel will find an attorney who will fight aggressively for his client yet is incredibly kind, professional, and approachable. I had the pleasure of trying cases against Joe and remember him to be hardworking, fair, and passionate about his work."
"Joe is a hard working attorney and very capable of investigating the facts of the case, identifying the issues, and planning strategies to resolve the case in the best interest of his client. Joe has remarkable skill in the courtroom and has a down to earth style that appeals to juries."
"I worked with Joe for over three years as an Assistant State Attorney in the Sixth Judicial Circuit, Pinellas County. Joe is an excellent and zealous advocate who works his cases thoroughly. His work ethic and knowledge of the details of his cases carried him to successful verdicts on many tough cases I observed him try."
"I had the opportunity to work with Mr. Werner on several cases when we were both Assistant State Attorneys in Clearwater, Florida. Each time, Mr. Werner was fully prepared and provided excellent advocacy on behalf of the State of Florida. I still remember one specific trial that we conducted together where we were able to get a major conviction on a Trafficking in Cocaine case. If I'm not mistaken, that drug dealer was sentenced to 25 years in prison. Aside from being an excellent attorney, Mr. Werner is an honest and trustworthy person. I would have no problem recommending Mr. Werner to anyone that needs an experienced and aggressive attorney to represent them or their interests."
"I endorse this lawyer's work. I had the opportunity to work with this lawyer for several years at the State Attorney's Office. Joseph developed a reputation as a superior attorney who who is tenacious in trial. He has great trial technique and I would not hesitate in recommending his services to those in need."
"I endorse this lawyer's work. I worked together with Mr. Werner as a fellow assistant state attorney and later, when I entered private practice, I had cases in which Mr. Werner was the opposing counsel. Mr. Werner has an excellent understanding of the law and a great presence in the courtroom. He is a great asset if he is on your "side" and a worthy adversary if he is opposing counsel. Regardless of which "side" he is on though, Mr. Werner is always courteous to other attorneys and displays the highest level of professionalism."
