The Stiell Law Firm assisted me with responding to a child support matter. During the process, I was kept informed of the status of my case as well as aprised as to what should be expected at each stage of the process. Due to my anxiety and stress with dealing with such matters, Mrs. Stiell took the time to reassure me regarding the fairness and equitability of the process and law concerning such matters. In the end, I was very pleased, and I was able to successfully establish my rights as a noncustodial parent, establish a child support payment based on my financial ability to pay, and correct errors resulting from a technical gliche within the State of Florida's child support payment system. I am most grateful to the Stiell Law Firm for handling this issue on my behalf with integrity and care. I would not hesitate to recommend this firm to anyone.

Attorney Stiell goes above and beyond what is required of an attorney....she is an excellent attorney and cares about her clients. She will be our attorney for life! Although Attorney Stiell gave me solid legal guidance, she made it clear that how she proceeded in my case was up to me. Fortunately for me, I followed her advice. Not only is the Stiell Law Firm an outstanding firm, but their prices are also in line with other firms. In fact, I would venture to say that their prices are among the most reasonable in the area. Did I win everything in the end? No. Did my ex win everything in the end? No. Did our children win in the end? Absolutely! I attribute my children's overall well being and happiness to Attorney Phelicia Stiell, and her staff at the Stiell Law Firm. The Stiell Law Firm is OUTSTANDING!

I do NOT recommend hiring the law office of the Stiell Law Firm to handle any legal matters!!! I regret not doing my due diligience in researching this atty before paying thousands of dollars to someone with only 10 years of experience (at the time I hired this attorney) to handle such a sensitive matter of child custody and support. More specifically, my main grievance with the Stiell Law Firm was the EXTREME overbilling and what appears to be a breach of contract on behalf of Phelicia D. Stiell. After paying well over $4,000 dollars in retainer fees, more like $5,000, this firm capriciously hit me with an additional bill after the case was closed. Although this firm's contract states that they would provide clients a monthly bill of charges, I experienced no such thing! All of a sudden, I received a very questionable bill of alleged time researched on my case. And if there is indeed any validity to the excessive number of hours billed, it calls into question the knowledge level and competence of the Stiell Law Firm to handle family law cases. To make matters even worse, the amount of money I was receiving in child support DECREASED after hiring the STIELL LAW FIRM. I would have served myself more justice by researching the Florida Statues and representing myself Pro Se. In my experience, this firm did not aggresively fight for my rights and delivered absolutely no modicum of a sense of relief and security for my case, neither legally of financially. I've worked with another attorney in this area where I had a positive experience. What I saw was what I got. Not the case here. I suggest that Phelicia D. Stiell of the Stiell Law Firm enroll in a continuing education course of the ethics of law, at minimum.
