Adrian Middleton Bounced a check "on my behalf" to the DBPR after I fired him via text because he doesn't like to return calls

I hired Adrian and he's great on the phone but has not returned calls and when he does it's to prolong his cat and mouse game. Often saying I'll call you back and not a word, terrible communication and reliability. I have been registered with the Florida Bar in the past and worked with many attorneys.... In my personal opinion you want someone who will keep his or her promises about things they can control. Things happen but, in my case, not filing simple documents time and time again with disrespectful knowledge to a client is condescending. If you want disrespect from your attorney and very limited if any callbacks, roll the dice and call Adrian Middleton. In my case, I supplied documents and paid my invoices. I was even told my documents were in order, yet they haven't been filed with the DBPR, to date. It's my family's livelihood, not his! If you don't have the time or others are more important, don't take more cases than you can handle. I only hope my documents are handle delivered to the DBPR as promised for almost 2 weeks. Oh, yes part of his pitch is that he is close to the DBPR and that's one of the things that helps his clients. They can hand deliver the docs and save people from snail mail, get a verification receipt, and make sure the government employees can't say they lost your documents. Adrian's office is so close and I'm so far-far away from my prepared documents being delivered by hand. 1 Star is a gift. I emailed him for a PDF copy of my retainer that was signed online using DocuSign, my bad. I can only wonder how long that's going to take, if ever. Time will tell. I fired Middleton and paid to finish the application Adrian Middleton was to complete and file. He filed documents on the qualifier for my company with a check and I now have what looks like a bounced check connected to my account that I paid him for prior. Refer to Yelp Peter R review says he paid attorney Adrian the funds to pay on his behalf like me and when Adrian wrote a check to the DBPR it bounced. I just got a letter from the DBPR today 2026-03-20 and it said the same thing. When I filed it was with a credit card that was approved so his check looks like it bounced also. What a hack and his Google Business Profile as of today says Permanently Closed (Good News for the People of Florida) I found out yesterday that Adrian Middleton bounced a check "on my behalf" and a co-worker to the DBPR. It looks like this is not a "one-off" problem. I guess after 10 years he forgot about Ethics, Escrow Accounts, Commingling of Funds maybe? I can't say, maybe I'm wrong, but he did bounce 2 checks. Florida Bar Rules, particularly Rule 5-1.1 of the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar, mandate that attorneys must maintain separate trust accounts (also known as escrow accounts) for client funds that are not yet earned or are to be held in trust. When an attorney receives funds from a client, such as filing fees, they are typically required to deposit those funds into a trust account until the funds are used for their intended purpose or earned.

Administrative law

Adrian and his team assisted me with getting licensed a CPA in the state of Florida. It was a timely process but they never let up. Thanks again. I would highly recommend.

VERY EXPERIENCE AND VERY QUICK SERVICE

Adrian was recommended to me last week. I had to have answers filed by the end of that day with the Department of Business and Professional Regulation on five cases. He got the job done, I am very happy, not only did he move quickly but he is very experienced. I fill he was a GOD send.

Knowledgable

Explained administrative procedures to me in layman terms. He is a wealth of information in regards to navigating through the state bureaucracy. He is also a nice guy.

Awesome attorney

Adrian helped me get a workers comp penalty revised from 150,000 to 15,000. That was 10 years ago. He recently helped me with re-filing my state license for Florida, as well as Trademark I needed done. I would highly recommend Adrian Middleton to anyone in need of legal services.
