Hired for a complicated case. Not worth the cost. Spent too much time explaining the case and getting charged for it. She is probably worth hiring for simple cases that fit a certain mold, but if there is any deviation or anything that is out of the box, hire someone else. You will be bled to death j...ust for communicating with her. I dreaded phone calls to her as I knew that each call would cost me a ton and the case did not progress. I fired her and ended up going Pro Se and was able to accomplish what she was not able to do.

Carolyn will gain your trust and confidence in her as will her office staff. However be ware! I like to compare her to the people in the movie Devils Advocate. I went to her for a uncontested divorce of which should have been a rather easy and quick resolution. This drug on for months almost to eight... months until my funds had been depleted. After Zimmer had depleted almost twenty thousand dollars of mine she then oh so kindly advised me oh how I should go about getting her more money. I finally wised up and dropped her. I then went to a new divorce attorney that only cost less then five thousand dollars to fully have my divorce completed. Zisser would have you believe that it only cost me five thousand dollars to complete my divorce because she had done all of the hard work. Lol simply NOT true. Beware and do your research! I hired Carolyn Zisser to represent me in an extremely high conflict divorce. She came highly recommended to me, but at the same time, I was warned of her fees. I decided to retain her despite the many different comments I heard about her exorbitant fees. She appeared very knowledgeable and sincer...e when I initially met her. After two years of taking a circuitous route and charging me close to $200,000.00, I severed my services with Mrs. Zisser. I was financially and emotionally exhausted, and no where near divorced. My advice is please listen to those who retained her. Talk to her peers. Do your homework. As one attorney stated, 'Caroly Zisser's reputation is her worst advertising.'
