Adam has resided in Jacksonville since 2001, but hails from Maui, Hawaii. He married his wife, Nicole, in 2002 and the two of them have two wonderful children together: Asher and Maile. Prior to law, Adam specialized in small business management and originally attended law school to supplement his business expertise. However, while earning his law degree, Adam realized that he could best use both his business acumen and legal education by establishing his own legal practice. In 2015, the Law Office of Adam J. Dugan, P.A. was born.

Adam enjoys all things outdoors, including surfing, fishing, snowboarding, hiking, kayaking, free-diving, and scuba-diving. Adam has taught the 4th and 5th grade Sunday School at his previous church in Gainesville and is now an active member of his current church, Eleven22.

LLC setup and advice

Mr. Dugan was very professional and prompt in answering my questions. I've hired him for additional work after this first experience. It's hard to find someone you can trust and in my dealings he has proven to be trustworthy.

Excellent Estate Legal Service

Adam Dugan is an excellent estate lawyer. He represented us in a very contentious estate and contractual matter and helped us navigate through this unpleasantness in a personable and professional manner. Adam was great about keeping us informed as our case progressed through the system. He is honest, very intelligent and knowledgeable. In addition, he really cares about his clients. We always felt he had our best interests at heart. Every time we came to his office to meet on our case, he and his staff were always very warm and welcoming. Adam’s Assistant, Liza, was great. Probate

When I met Adam I was very disoriented while dialing with a terrible grief and a few legal issues that came in place. Adam attentively listened and assured me he could help. I put all my trust on him, resolving everything related to my husband's Estate Planning as well as setting up mine own. Mr. Dugan KNOWS probate!

What a pleasure to have had Mr Dugan handle our very complicated probate. After interviewing multiple probate lawyers we were referred to and decided upon Mr. Dugan. So glad for the referral. Thorough and Personable

Adam is very knowledgeable regarding estate law, also very thorough when handling a case. He's personable, and very good at explaining the "legaleze" when working on your case. He handled my father's estate as well as setting up a trust for my husband and me.

Great attorney

Mr. Dugan was very knowledgeable in helping us with estate planning (even though our "estate" isn't a very large one...). He listened carefully to our wants and needs and seemed to truly care about setting up an estate plan that was well suited to our family. We have used him several times since our first encounter with him, and often comment on how lucky we were to have randomly found Adam online. He's great, honest, trustworthy and a genuinely nice person, and I highly recommend him.

Excellent!

I highly recommend Adam Dugan for estate probate planning! At the last minute before an estate closing, I found out we needed our mother’s estate probated within 30 days and he did just that. The right coice!!

Adam was a fantastic help in getting us through a very tough time. I lost my father, then my mother 43 days later. He handled the rather complex probate with easy & confidence. He had several ideas & suggestions on how to handle the probate. I would suggest him to anyone. As a matter of fact I have already suggested his services to a close friend in need.

A lawyer that cares

All the legal hassles generated by a death are not easy to negotiate on a normal day and near impossible while also dealing with grief. I was extremely fortunate to find Adam J. Dugan who cares about his clients and goes to great lengths to explain, guide and aid the client through the maze of legalize. He was the calm in the middle of a terrible storm and I am grateful I found him.
