Posted by Elizabeth | July 04, 2017 | Hired Attorney | Chapter 11 Bankruptcy

Used to be great, no longer

We hired Brett to handle our Chapter 11 case. All was well in the payment plan process for two years. That's when I discovered that I had been paying the wrong company due to an error in Brett's paperwork. He told us he'd take care of it if we payed an additional $4200. We trusted him and payed him t...he added fee. He gave us the run around for two more years while he did nothing. We had to hire another attorney at an additional expense to clean up his mess. Due to his error, we are out $20000 and he refuses accept any communication from us. He stole the $4200 and his errors cost us a lot more.
