The personal injury and property insurance claim process,... I discovered, is confoundingly complex and complicated. I drove a car for over 60 years. No accidents. A sunny morning in 2020 … BANG!! Rear ended on a highway. Car totaled—and I was off to the Emergency Room in an ambulance. Within a week after the accident, even though I was not at fault, I realized that I was still going to be involved in an arduous process. Seeking reimbursement? Tow Truck bills, the replacement car process, personal injury and health issues, medical bills, loss of income, etc. … all must be considered, collected, analyzed … then presented in a formal demand package to the other party’s insurance company.
