Retired Gulf War Era Naval Officer. My practice is centered around representing military service personnel, families of military personnel, veterans and military retirees.
I work on a fixed fee/phased billing. I spend a lot of time with my clients and each client has my cell phone number to contact me personally.
To reduce costs and expenses, I do all of my own work.

GREAT ATTORNEY - PRACTICES WITH HER HEART
MS. ROGERS represented me in an stalking matter where I was the victim. He compassion and empathy showed. Her performance int he courtroom put me at ease - she had command of the facts and the respect of the judge. The person who was stalking me is in jail now and I feel safe. I want to thank Ms....

Horrible
Maria was hired to do my divorce 3 years ago. 3 years later-I’m still married! I lost out in mediation with many things and when I tried to voice my concerns and ask questions, she slammed down her pen and shouted at me. She was so rude she made me cry and the lawyer doing the mediation excused me fr...
Unfortunately those who leave anonymous reviews are suspect of providing false information. Obviously this is not a true situation. I have no opened dissolution cases and only practice criminal and juvenile law. I do not use Avvo review system as it is not verifiable and inaccurate. There has never been a situation in a mediation that i or most attorneys as described would behave in such a fashion. We live in a world where folks can hide behind a fake email and try to knock out their competition. All I can say this is a fake review.

The best!
I retained Miss Rogers to represent me in a felony matter. She did an excellent job negotiating and keeping me calm and positive. Not only was she knowledgeable and compassionate, she was very personable and became like a family member. I am forever grateful to her.

SELFISH AND INCONSIDERATE
This is a selfish and inconsiderate lawyer. She puts her personal needs before her job. Does not advocate to fight for your case even with substantial evidence provided. I hired Mrs Rodgers to defend a case in which it should have been an open shut case in my opinion. I had to do all the investig...

Worst attorney I have seen. And worked with.
I waited to finalize my divorce with another attorney before reviewing Maria. She worked in my case and from the beginning I have not had a worse experience. She was slow in getting back to me. But quick to get paid. I won’t spend alot of time here. But she took my money and basically did nothing. ...

Admonishment issued in FL, 2010
updated on 05/19/2016An admonition means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The Bar gives the lawyer an admonition in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
“The client threatened the attorney. The attorney filed an injunction for protection. The initial review substantiated my position of which that person appealed. The individual has had previous injunctions and a mental health condition. I was the 5th attorney.”
