Active Duty Sailor - Positive Urinalysis.

Positive Urinalysis. (No Misconduct, Retained) Mr Korody immediately gathered all facts with my situation and never made me feel uncomfortable with the stigmas associated with a positive urinalysis. Mr Korody was always reachable, honest, and he quarterbacked the whole process. My situation went to an ADSEP Board with possibly losing all VA benefits and pension. If it wasn’t for his experience and knowledge of the military justice process there is no way my board would have resulted in no misconduct and retained. Thanks to Mr Korody I can retire at 20yrs with my pension and my reputation intact!!!!!

Excellent Trial Attorney!

From the very beginning of our interactions, I had a good feeling about Mr. Korody. The advice he gave was spot on throughout the entire process and he was always very open and honest. Even when I was unsure along the way, he reassured me to trust the process. In all honesty, there were times when I thought "maybe we should fold the tent", but he gave me the confidence to push through. At several points in said process, I thought the ship was sinking, but he always was open and honest, evening saying, "we're taking on water, but we are not sunk yet"! I could tell, he had the gumption to take it all the way, so that's just what we did. He never made unrealistic promises and he commonly stated, "the only thing certain about a trial, is that it's uncertain". When it came to the actual trial, he ran circles around the other side, almost to the point where I wasn't sure the other side knew what was going on. His knowledge of case law was second to none. His closing argument tied everything together in a way that was so digestible, that in the end I got the best and most desirable outcome possible. One of the best decisions I have ever made without a shadow of doubt! If you need a good lawyer, you can end your search with him! ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!

Excellent Experience

This Attorney was recommended to me and after contacting him, I felt very confident all would work out in my favor, even knowing there were no guarantees. Knowledgeable and self assured, he instilled confidence without promising a particular outcome. After our first conversation, I felt comfortable hiring him and was very happy that he was able to put an appeal together in the amount of time I initially retained him for. Military Adverse Administrative Action Response

Mr. Korody helped to craft a response to an adverse administrative action for my active duty husband. The situation was very complex and required knowledge of joint operations and military structures. Mr. Korody helped create a thorough, precise response and followed all military instruction expectations. His help gave us the confidence to go into the response phase knowing we had done everything possible. Mr. Korody is highly professional and responsive, and he worked well with the active military lawyer we were assigned. He was attentive to our concerns, worked hard to fully understand the entire situation, and gave excellent advice on the tone and tenor of the response.

Will fight for you

I worked with Mr. Korody for the last year on a case that many told me would take several years. What has taken others 2-4 years to achieve, he was able to help me in less than one year. Also, he is mindful of economic constraints of his clients and is able to make recommendations that are equally accommodating. My case is in the process of closure but I am willing to give him an excellent review anyway.

Gets The Job Done!

I couldn’t be happier with the help and guidance that Patrick gave me dealing with a legal matter regarding my military past. I was in full panic-mode when I got on Google & found him. He answered the phone, listened, & got to work tackling my serious issue. (I could have lost my job b/c of this so when I say it was serious I’m not exaggerating.) Patrick is a former Navy JAG and I knew I needed someone with that background & knowledge due to my situation. He was always prompt in responding when I emailed him something, kept me updated & included each step of the way, and did what he said he was going to do crazy fast every time. Divorce / Military Retirement Pay

I’m so glad I was able to locate and retain Patrick Karody Law Firm to represent my interest in determining the value of my military retirement on the date of dissolution, rather than the current value. Representation for USMC Urinalysis Case

After returning from my honeymoon in South America I tested positive for a prohibited drug on a post-leave urinalysis within my unit. My training was immediately frozen and I suddenly had major career implications, possibly even separation, staring me in the face in light of this positive test. Having limited knowledge of the process and legal expertise needed to defend myself in the event of a positive urinalysis in the Marine Corps, I sought out an experienced lawyer. After a quick internet search by my father and I, we found Patrick, saw his credentials as a JAG and having defended similar cases to mine and never looked back. Patrick gave me immediate and invaluable advice the day I was told of the positive test and I hired him soon after. Long story short, with Patrick's expertise we were able to prove my innocence to my command as the result of innocent ingestion. No administrative or disciplinary actions were taken against me and I was promptly put back into training after the decision by my command four months after the positive test. Everything he did from advise to document drafting was exactly what I needed, when I needed it and I don't know where I'd be today without Patrick's services. I don't write reviews often but I would be remiss not to give Patrick my highest recommendation and gratitude for his work on my behalf.

Mr. Korody is likely the best option I could’ve chosen in Jacksonville. He was very straightforward, knowledgeable, and suppressed any worries/concerns I had. ADSEP Board

Mr. Korody is a outstanding Lawyer. He guided me throughout one of the most stressful times of my military career. Advising me on my captions mast and administrative board. His ability to hear my situation and fact find throughout the whole process was remarkable. Combined with fact that he was prior active duty JAG he has a solid knowledge of the UCMJ. Understands how command investigations are supposed to be conducted and was able to pick it apart. He completely dissected all of my commands proceedings and he was always available when I needed him.Went well above and beyond. He is very passionate and understood the stress this caused me and my family. He also worked great with my military appointed JAG. At the end of my administrative Board he was able to get a no basis (not guilty) of all the charges. After 14.5 years of service I can now continue my career and have this tremendous weight lifted off my shoulders. I would recommend Mr Korody for any military proceedings because he is the absolute best at what he does.

Life saver

Mr. Korody represented me recently during one of the scariest times of my life. These days it seems like anyone can accuse you of anything at anytime and when the ball starts rolling it seemed like all I could do was wait for my life to be wrecked. I retained Mr. Korody to represent me. He cut thru all of the confusion and mystery of the process. Surgically explained without fluff or spin exactly what was going to happen and what he planned to do about it. He didn’t over dramatize or inject MORE anxiety but at the same time he didn’t sugar coat things as well. Another HUGELY important thing that I want him to get credit for was access. He was a text away all the time and if I needed to talk he immediately told me when he was free to do so. THANK YOU Sir for guiding me thru this time with a completely positive outcome.
