Lauren Elise Kingry

I hired Lauren after a friend recommended her. I was requesting payment from my ex for money that he owed me from my original divorce. It should have been cut and dry. She was so incompetent I not only never had my day in court as she “ didn’t see” or “didn’t get” the other attorneys motions for dis...covery and when we finally got time in front of the judge we were not prepared. I had all the documents they wanted ready from the original divorce but Lauren never asked for them. Please don’t use her as a lawyer. She seems very nice but is truly in over her head.

I hired Lauren to do a simple divorce with no kids involved. She came with a big bark at first but, had no bite. She acted like she was going to take care of the case without any problem but, when it was go time she sat back and let proceedings just happen organically and did not fight for me! In ...fact she wanted me to provide a mass amount of information to the apposing attorney and asked for nothing from them. She seemed to only respond via email. Then not at all. She had all kinds of excuses for not responding. Her personal life kept her from concentrating on my case. In fact I had to contact the Florida Bar because Ms. Kingry never responded to me after multiple emails and phone calls to discuss my case with her when a trial date was just a couple weeks away. Instead of then contacting me she just dropped my case. All in all I wasted my money on an attorney because in the end I didn't even need one. She didn't even bother sending me my documents in the mail after she dropped my case. So I spent $1,500 and had nothing to show for! She will take the Money but, after that she has No sense of urgency!

I went through a divorce in which I told her to be nice to my soon to be ex. Soon thereafter, my ex disappeared with my daughter and did various other things. Not only was Lauren a professional the entire time, she spent a few extra moments dealing with my distress I was going through. Divorce... is not an easy process and I listened to her every word. Granted, I had concerns but she always had words of encouragement and completed the divorce. She spent many hours through depositions, filings, etc. If I were a lawyer, I would hate my job yet she continued until it was completed without an iota if complaint to me. Looking back, I wish I hadn't called her repeatedly with all my worries as she handled the case like it should have been handled. Would I recommend her? Yes. Would I hire her if I needed her again? A resounding hell yes!

Lauren helped me through some rough times with my ex wife as the marriage started to fall apart. She continuously kept me informed of every aspect of the divorce as it happend. There was always a line of communication open when information was needed. Lauren's hard work and determination working on m...y case resulted in things going the way I wanted from the beginning.. I have recommended her to friends. I would recommend her to anyone needing help.

Lauren was a God send for my legal needs. Going through a Divorce and child custody battle can the most destructive of times in a persons life and Lauren handled my case as if it were her own interests at heart. I knew I could count on her expert knowledge in her field along with her genuine concern ...for my welfare and that of my child. Since she practices alone she can be very busy at times, but she never failed to take time for me. I knew my case was a priority to her, and her outline of what to expect made the process a little less painful.
