This is a true review. Please feel free to contact me for details and evidence. I was too far into my case before I realized what was actually going on. Lauren was late to hearings, refused my calls, told lies, was disorganised, she purposefully withheld important information about my case from me, s...he is very deceitful and full of both personal and professional drama. Lauren notified me just weeks before what she said was a final hearing and demanded an additional $4500 to represent me. I found it VERY STRANGE that she agreed to half the cost and didnt pro ess all of my payments before the hearing date. But it wasnt long before things became clear. When we showed up to court, the hearing was for a motion she filed on my behalf 6 months prior. She openly admitted in court (bit was lying) not to know what was going on and thus asked only 2 questions to witnesses for the father in a 3.5 hour hearing. As a direct result, I lost some of my parental rights. Lauren had her staff tell every lie in the book as to why she could not speak to me after the hearing for over 3 weeks, which caused me to miss the 10 day appeals window. This further perpetuated the downward spiral of my case. Thereafter, personal information that I only shared with Lauren bith verbally and in emails has surfaced during the rest of my case. In my opinion, lawyer, Lauren Kingry's performance in my case most certainly seemed as though she accepted payment from my son's father.

I went through a divorce in which I told her to be nice to my soon to be ex. Soon thereafter, my ex disappeared with my daughter and did various other things. Not only was Lauren a professional the entire time, she spent a few extra moments dealing with my distress I was going through. Divorce... is not an easy process and I listened to her every word. Granted, I had concerns but she always had words of encouragement and completed the divorce. She spent many hours through depositions, filings, etc. If I were a lawyer, I would hate my job yet she continued until it was completed without an iota if complaint to me. Looking back, I wish I hadn't called her repeatedly with all my worries as she handled the case like it should have been handled. Would I recommend her? Yes. Would I hire her if I needed her again? A resounding hell yes!

Be careful with your 2,000 non refundable retainer before you hire this attorney. I needed a fairly simple modification and request for child support, I went to my initial consolation and she seemed professional and knowledgeable. I voiced my concerns that after I filed for child support and mo...dification, I anticipated my ex wife would try again for full custody. She explained that since we were filing for child support and the modification, those issues would be handled first before changing custody would even be considered. So I went ahead and hired Lauren this was in June. 4 months later the only thing that had been done with my case was my financial affidavit. Whenever I tried to contact her with questions or concerns I would get about a one sentence email for a response. Then as I predicted my ex filed to have another custody evaluation done with a different custody evaluator, possibly giving my ex a chance at custody. Lauren’s response, “Oh well, I guess were going to have another custody evaluation”. No attempt to fight it or file a motion to object it. At this time I fired Lauren and found a competent attorney. After I fired her I figured I would be getting a refund of the retainer money that she hadn’t worked off yet (about 300 dollars) but no, because with Lauren it’s a non-refundable retainer, even if she does a crappy job. Do yourself a favor and find an aggressive, competent attorney, that actually cares about your case enough to respond to your questions and not waste months doing nothing.
