Maria Kristin Indelicato

Legal sherpa: divorce docent, paternity guide, purveyor of the innocent and accused, and your new best kept secret

Mrs. Indelicato is a local attorney who has spent her entire legal career honing her skills to represent the people who need help the most: people accused of crimes and families going through divorce or paternity actions.

Mrs. Indelicato was born and raised here in the Daytona Beach area. She is an alumna of Pathways Elementary, Silver Sands Middle, Spruce Creek High School, the University of Florida (go Gators!), and Florida Coastal School of Law. She graduated in 2006 from the prestigious IB program at Spruce Creek where she also participated in the high school marching band and many other academic clubs. After flying through college, Mrs. Indelicato graduated with honors from the University of Florida in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a minor in Teaching. From there, she attended Florida Coastal School of Law and graduated with her Juris Doctor degree in December 2011. After passing the bar on her first try, Mrs. Indelicato knew that she had to come home to practice law.

Mrs. Indelicato's first legal job was with a firm handling social security disability work and after about a year, she went on to the State side of criminal work. During nearly seven years working at the State, she handled thousands of cases—from filing to motions and bond hearings to trials—with over 40 cases put before a jury. Some of the cases she handled ranged from misdemeanor DUIs and domestic violence to burglaries, carjacking, complex racketeering, trafficking, and sex crimes. Through her time at the State, she was able to hone her skills in the courtroom, with a jury, in written pleadings, and in handling difficult or "unwinnable" situations. Mrs. Indelicato had to consider each case and the facts, circumstances, and history of each and every defendant so that "justice" could be achieved. In recognition of her successes, Mrs. Indelicato was awarded the Top Gun Trial Award in 2018.

After so much time working with victims and working for "justice," Mrs. Indelicato realized that she wanted to help people in a different way. Mrs. Indelicato found her home at Aaron Delgado & Associates where she is now practicing family law. She is able to bring my experience as a litigator and her ability to navigate any situation to the difficulties of family law cases. When Mrs. Indelicato is not advocating for her clients, she like to be with her husband and son. They venture out to the beach, Disney, or even favorite local spots. She likes to volunteer her time with the Junior League of Daytona Beach and has served in positions including: co-chair of human trafficking committee; social media chair; and is currently serving as the marketing and branding chair. Mrs. Indelicato also has the honor of being on the board of directors for the Volusia County Bar Association: Young Lawyer's Division. She is also a member of the Volusia Flagler Association of Women Lawyers. ​
