I originally contacted the office via email with questions regarding grandparents rights after having contacted other recommended offices that would not take my case. Ms. Gennusa has seriously harmed my case by her negligence. When we first met I made clear to Ms. Gennusa "winning" meant the most time sharing with my children possible. Recently in a hearing scheduled by Ms. Gennusa, two key witnesses (one paid handsomely), were not properly coordinated to ensure t...heir appearance. The paid expert, a psychologist, was out of the country while the DCF Child Protective Investigator was convalescing. Therefore, neither of their critical reports were admissable without their appearance. Ms. Gennusa was well aware of both situations well in advance of the hearing, but chose not to reschedule the hearing. I believe she did this in order not to sacrifice her appearance fees. Looking out for her best interests and not mine or my children's. When confronted with her negligence she elected to quit my case as the most critical stage, just as depositions were about to begin for final hearing. Her negligence and subsequent voluntary withdrawal have placed my case in serious jeopardy of hoping for a positive outcome in my case. I caution you to ensure she has YOUR best interests and wishes in mind and not just her own.
