In 2012 I was on out of state business travel to St Augustine Florida for my Company. Unfortunately I struck a sign post with my rental car and ultimately was arrested for a DUI. Despite Florida's harsh stance requiring minimum mandatory sentencing in all gun cases regardless of any mitigating circumstances, Malcolm managed to work out a deal with the state so that my boyfriend is serving 3 years probation, of which only 5 months are having to be served in county. I spent the better part of 15 years in shame. I got a dui in a state and before I went to court I decided to leave. Biggest mistake of my life. A few months ago I landed a job with my city. 100% of my duties involve driving a city vehicle!!!!! Only advice I have is stop living in fear. I promise you this......
