Mr. Whiteman’s practice areas include probate and estate administration, general civil litigation, real estate law, real estate litigation, construction lien law, complex residential and commercial real estate transactions, title insurance, contract law, residential and commercial lease agreements, residential and commercial lending, landlord-tenant litigation, quiet title actions, business sale transactions, probate matters, and wills. Mr. Whiteman is a member agent for Attorneys’ Title Insurance Fund, Inc.
Mr. Whiteman began his career in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps of the U.S. Naval Reserve in 1975. Three years later he moved to the Office of the State Attorney for the
Fourth Judicial Circuit and later joined the Office of the State Attorney for the Seventh
Judicial Circuit, where he eventually became the attorney in charge. In 1985, he began
private practice as a shareholder with McClure and Whiteman. Eleven years later, he
joined Rogers Towers as a shareholder and in 2009 Mr. Whiteman joined St. Johns Law Group.
