A native of Thomasville, Georgia, Todd E. Silvis joined Silvis, Ambrose, Lindquist & Coch PC as an Associate Attorney in October 2018. Mr. Silvis will practice comprehensive law with special emphasis in estate planning, probate and business law. Prior to joining Silvis, Ambrose, Lindquist & Coch, PC, Mr. Silvis was an Associate Attorney at the Kuhn & Kuhn Law Firm in Charleston, South Carolina, where he had significant experience in wills, trusts and probate. While in South Carolina, Mr. Silvis served as a Committee Member on the South Carolina Bar's Wills Clinics Committee. Since moving to Georgia, Mr. Silvis has assumed a similar role on the Georgia Bar's Estate and Elder Law Committee.
Todd Silvis graduated as Salutatorian of the Thomasville Scholar's Academy in Thomasville, Georgia, before majoring in Marketing at the University of Georgia, where he graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration in 2011. Mr. Silvis then attended the Charleston School of Law earning his Juris Doctor in 2015. He served on the Editorial Staff of Resolved: Journal on Alternative Dispute Resolution, was a member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honors Fraternity, and was Charleston School of Law's American Bar Association (ABA) Delegate and the ABA Committee Chairman for the Student Bar Association.
As a Thomasville High School tennis player, Todd helped lead THS to the semifinals of the state championship and set a record for the most singles wins in a season. Todd enjoys golf, live music and working on his new home, along with his wife, Sarah D. Silvis, a Physician's Assistant and Hospitalist with Southland Hospitalist Group at Archbold Hospital.
