This Probate Administration case stretched on for several years because an Austrian Bank refused to release the money in an American client's Bank account (located in Austria) without a Court Order due ... to their own internal regulations. On top of the fact that this matter dealt with European Court Systems and foreign co-Counsel, This whole matter was further complicated by the fact that the funds needed to flow through the deceased's Probate Estate, only to end up in a Trust, only to be immediately disbursed out of the Trust for expenses and then outright to the beneficiaries. Eventually we had to litigate in order to obtain an order telling them to disburse the funds so that we could finally close the Estate.
