I hired Mrs. Bradley 9-30-22 sent her $1000 to handle a case there in Cook County . When I first spoke with she assured me that she would find out the next court day so I could take this matter. She told me that she to pay the retainer fee and she would contact me that Monday , I waited for her call ...up until Wednesday so I reached out to there firm requesting a refund on my retainer fee because they didn’t send over the retainer form nor did anyone reach out to me to consult with me about case. So when I reached out the receptionist she kept giving me the run around and completely lied about she called the DA cause I had spoke with the DA earlier and I was told to hire a public defender. Then they put the paralegal on the phone then she lied . The entire time Mrs. Bradley was in the office knowing that no one reached out to nor called about my case. These ppl take from hard working ppl this law firm $1000 dollars I paid to these ppl gone down the drain and they did nothing. No motions or nothing just a bunch of lies. Then she tells a friend that every time we call asking about my money it will be deducted. If I pay someone my hard earned money I expect for them to try there best to help me in my situation, all she did was add more stress.

I retained Latesha Bradley in a protective order case as my husband was abusive for years. She missed my consult and didn't contact me for three days after, I should have seen this as a red flag, however, her partner had come highly recommended. I let it go as attorneys often get hung up in court. Wh...en I finally had my consult with her I was weary of her commitment, she assured me she had been dealing with these cases for over 20 years and that she would be at my court hearing, lie number one. She informed me and all parties the day before our hearing that she would be a little late but would be there by 10. She never showed up. My husband has abused multiple wives and women as well as I have pictures and videos as solid proof, since she couldn't be bothered to show up the protective order was dropped. When I voiced my upset she called and apologized while offering to refund half of my retainer, lie number two. I never received anything but a bill for 5 dollars and some change. I can't warn you enough to take your money elsewhere and hire someone who is going to take care of you as a client. Due to her incompetence my husband now as full access to myself as well as my very young daughter until we are able to get proper representation since Miss Bradley was not equipped.
