I sought a defense attorney for my case back in November 2022. I called Cox, Rodman, and Middleton immediately. I explained to them my situation and my expected outcome. They put me in touch with the lawyer they felt would best fit my needs and situation given the location of my case. I scheduled a a consultation and I met Mr. Rodman. He was professional, helpful and understanding. He agreed to take my case and we hit the ground running. He kept me informed and made sure I understood every part of what was going on and what wa sto be expected. I could tell he had my best interest at heart. My case lasted until June 2023. Mr. Rodman could sense my concern for the case because my dates continued to get pushed. There was a moment where Mr. Rodman confronted the judge and firmly encouraged the judge that were wasting precious time and that he needed to dismiss my case. Another lawyer inside the courtroom actually came up to me and expressed how much he envied Mr. Rodman's approach and strength in the courtroom. My case was eventually dismissed and I owe it to God and Mr. Rodman for having my best interest and back in the courtroom. I strongly recommend him for anyone looking to have the best outcome when faced with a situation they need help with in the courtroom. The entire office was professional, to include the receptionist Miss Breana. Thanks again guys. I have a fresh and new start.

John co-founded Cox, Rodman, & Middleton Law Firm in January 2017 in order to more fully meet the diverse legal needs of a wider range of citizens than his previous employment allowed. Prior to the firm's formation, Falen O. Cox, Christopher K. Middleton, and he had already worked together as attorneys for more than six years. Over his career, he has resolved more than 1000 felony cases and received jury verdicts in more than 30 major crimes trials. In his former role as a Public Defender, he was one of only four defense attorneys fully assigned to the Major Crimes Division when it began in Chatham County in 2013, and he has received verdicts of acquittal on a wide variety of charged offenses ranging all the way up to murder. He has also won a number of dispositive motions and received many reductions and dismissals on behalf of clients over his career in criminal defense. John has a passion for assisting clients through periods of legal turmoil, and he practices “client-centered representation,” meaning that the client always remains both the focus and the driving force of the direction that the representation takes in pursuit of achievable goals in each client’s best interests.
In addition to his work in the courtroom, John is also involved in various community service endeavors. He assisted in creating and expanding the “I Wish I Knew” (IWIK) initiative, which sought to reduce incarceration rates and increase graduation rates by educating and motivating school-aged youth to avoid legal pitfalls as they formulate and pursue life goals. He served as the coordinator and a presenter for the IWIK initiative. Through partnerships with various local organizations, John has presented valuable information to thousands of youth at numerous venues including schools, universities, churches, and community centers. John and his partners are currently expanding community partnerships and developing further community initiatives.

Can never seem to get this man to respond and do his job
Client.
Rodamn has been well payed by us and we have been calling for weeks-months trying to get help from Rodman, we hear nothing back ever most times. He is never in office and never responds to messages. This is poor work, as he is supposed to care about his clients. I’m highly disappointed that we ever hired him in the first place. Complete slack on his part.
