William Joseph Turner

I hired Joey back in 2020 to handle my dui case and after 3 years with almost no contact without chasing him down and only getting him to appear at 1 court date I went in and got my case resolved by myself. He did absolutely nothing on my case, didn't even show me a discovery of evidence from my case..., and even lied that nothing can be done but to plea guilty with dui and take whatever they give me. After going to my court date alone they offered me a plea deal to reckless driving with a fee and a year of probation which is fine with me. If I had stuck with him as my lawyer I would still be waiting for another court date and probably going to trial, which I believe with this person as my lawyer I would have lost. I'll be seeking full reimbursement since the job was never done and I hope no one ever makes the mistake of hiring this "lawyer" for their matters.

I don’t even know where to start, I had an incident occurred that was not my fault back in 2019. I hired Mr. Turner who stated he will try his best to make sure I got the defense I deserved. Due to Covid-19 the case kept getting pushed back and the prosecution wanted me to plead. I asked Mr. Tu...ner to fight, he said he would. As time went by I was getting worried because I didn’t hear anything about the case. Mr. Tuner advised me to this was normal due to issues around Covid19. Now thanks to him everything turn out great and the case was dismissed. The court system are crazy right now due to covid19 but Mr. Turner did a great job and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

My son was fighting a federal case in savannah. the courts appointment of counselor was Mr Turner for three years my son requested his discovery to no avail he filed complaints with the court, grievance with the bar the government refused to take this uncaring individual off my son case ultimately my... son went to trial with Mr Turner after seeing of hearing any evidence against him and no preparation for defense he was found guilty of a lesser offense. I sat 4 days of trial and Mr Turner was lost had no fight, I even see him coming out the liquor store after day two of trial. I wouldn't let him defend my dog,this man needs to be disbarred his care for human life is zero,he don't respond to request from his clients, don't provide discovery don't end up like my SON

Mr. Turner was hired for a shoplifting case I had while on Probation. He handled Both at a cost I Feel was very fair. The shoplifting was dismissed and there were NO probation sanctions. Though a probation violation warrant had been issued he worked with the DA to have me booked and released on My OR.... By the time my husband was there to pick me up I was done. It was a process and I had to trust Joey as my attorney and what He had been paid to do by his expertise. In the end. It is ALL behind me. No feeling like your freedom and not looking over your shoulder. He will work money with you just give him a call and talk to him honestly about your legal needs. He IS on your side.
