Incredible Knowledge, Clear & Patient Communication, and No Cash-Grabs

I signed up for a 15 minute free consultation, and spoke with Javonte Middleton, the firm's expungement paralegal. I couldn't be more pleased with the experience! I had tried to look at the Georgia Code related to my situation myself over and over again, but I was totally confused about what I needed... to do. That's because the laws, by their very nature, lacked a lot of the practical context involved in the day-to-day records management practices in Georgia's records systems. Javonte knew, off of the top of his head, impressively detailed information about record codes and practices and answered questions I had that were--to me--almost too complex to put into words. He walked me through a baffling GCIC background check document that I'd been having a lot of trouble understanding-- so many codes and fields and information. He answered me clearly and completely, and was very open open letting me ask questions. I didn't feel rushed nor pressured at any point. I contacted the firm ready to pay them for what I thought I might need, but rather than let me do that, Javonte told me there was a much simpler way I could try to get what I needed and not have to pay either a lawyer or the court: advising me to try that before I paid anyone anything. He gave me such a large, clear amount of information and help in about 15 minutes that at the end of it, I really felt guilty that this had only been a free consultation. I wanted to pay them something, because Javonte basically solved the problem that's been keeping me awake at night for weeks. He said, that was okay, just tell people about my experience. So that's what I'm doing here. It's not only that Javonte related a lot of information to me in a clear and patient way. It's also that I felt very much that the firm would not charge me for unnecessary activities. If you need help with expungement/restriction/record sealing, I'd highly recommend calling DeVetter Law Firm!
