Going to court, and going before the judge was unsettling, but David was in his place to perform. David exceeded and surpassed any prior expectations while in court, the courtroom is his place and he will surpass all expectations you have of him. His team, Andrea and Kendra, are very informative and receptive to your needs. While David is tied up in court with other clients, the two provide information to me and answered all questions or relayed the message to David for me. You, as the client have to provide the information and if you want to be an integral part of your case, David is the attorney for you. I hired Mr. Schachter in October of 2018 to regain custody of my 6 year old son. I hired another attorney 5 months beforehand and needless to say that turned out to be a disaster. David quickly fixed my previous attorney's horrendous mistakes and took an abundance of time and consideration on my ca...se. He took the time to collect every detail and every piece of evidence I had, even made great suggestions on things I should obtain for our case. David was OUTSTANDING with my case. Initially, I thought it would be extremely hard to relocate out of state with a young child under the age of 3 and a husband, at the time, active duty military. I was very vulnerable and I was scared that my ex husband would try to get full custody or something cra...zy with my child, which I'm sure every mother fears. David walked me through the entire process. Every time I had questions or concerns, his office was ALWAYS there to answer them and I was also able to speak with him personally, which is very important to me. Many Attorney's avoid their clients, David, does not. He won't settle for less than what he can get you and he is a FIGHTER. Dealing with the military can be VERY tricky, also with regard to the child custody/ child support aspect. David was able to get me MORE than what I thought I was going to get with regard to child support, and the custody is the LEAST of my concerns now. He fought for exactly what I wanted from this divorce. I am thoroughly pleased with the amount of respect I received from David. Attorney's can be belittling, and David was the entire opposite. He also has a family, so he is very understanding as to how the whole "young children" thing works. He is VERY experienced, very knowledgeable, and he is a BULL. I would hope I never need him again for a divorce, but IF I did, I would highly recommend and re-hire this Attorney in a heart beat. He was able to assist me with my divorce settling in GA and myself residing in the state of MA since the separation. I thank David's entire office for their hard work and attentiveness to my case. My divorce was finalized within the year of me filing, and WITH my ex husband being deployed, which I found awesome. Thank you for absolutely everything.

David Schachter is the best at what he does. I had been divorced for over five years, and out of that marriage I had a son. The mother of my son would keep me away from my son at will, and due to being active duty Military I felt that would not be able change my ability to have a relationship with m...y son. I had always been told that its hard to get custody of a child as a father not to include being a father in the Military. David restored my faith in possibilities and he represented me as if he was fighting for his own children.
