I had to copy and paste Mr. Sharpe's review, below, as this was exactly my experience. I would add in; her yelling at me in her conference room and questioning family things that had nothing to do with my divorce, to her yelling at me in her office foyer and asking her para legal/secretary to double ...check on emails she swore that she had sent to me, when she had not. I called her out on her poor memory and on her mistakes, and she dropped me. I had no direction nor any explanations of what was going on, why we were going to a court hearing or anything. The mis-communication or lack there of was astounding. She would say one thing and do another. As a medical professional myself I have never seen such unprofessionalism in my life. Retainer is non-refundable and I sure could have used the remainder of mine. ($2500.00) Based off of my experience I would never recommend her and post this to ward off others. This was one of the worst times in my life and boy did she misrepresent herself to me. Mr. Sharp wrote: Absolutely do not recommend this law firm. I will preface this review by saying I never intended to need a lawyer for a divorce (not that anyone does), but an abusive situation arose and Amanda was everything I could have asked for. I had no clue what I was doing, and after being abused by my now ex husband, I was lost and confused and just n...eeded someone to stand up for me and pretty much take the reins. She not only represented me in my protective order hearing, but also the divorce. There was a situation at the final hearing for the divorce that I was not prepared for, when we were told (the day of) that my now ex husband would be present in the court room. Amanda knew how this would affect me and took measures to make sure that I did not have to go into the courtroom with him. This meant more to me than the fantastic result that she got. It spoke volumes of her as both a person and a lawyer. If you want someone to fight for you and be tough, but also care about you as a person and not just a client, Amanda is the lawyer to pick. She made me feel confident and comfortable and kept the communication completely open for me to ask questions. I proudly and highly recommend her to anyone.

Working with this lawyer was a great experience. Communication was excellent and fast during the process. Family law is not easy for anyone to deal with, but the attorney showed great compassion and was very understanding of my situation.
