Horrible experience

I went to see Mr. Willard regarding a legal matter and to possibly retain him. I have been to his office a few times prior to this and talked to his paralegals which where very nice and informative. They gave me legal information pertaining to Georgia law. The information was very helpful but at this... point I believed I needed to retain Mr Willard. I set up a appointment and I went and tried to discuss the case I had already started at magistrate court. I let him know that I started the first part because his paralegals and Mrs Fiddle advised me that the magistrate court was user friendly and they would help me at the courts, they also advised me on how I should complete the eviction process. I discussed this with Mr Willard and he pretty much called me a liar and said his paralegals would have never given me any legal information. He stormed out of his office and went to interrogate his paralegals and Mrs Fiddler who did say they told me I could handle the matter on my own or they could if it came down to that. I was never there to argue, but Mr Willard started to become very argumentative and acted upset when I was only explaining where I was in the process and to see if I needed to retain a lawyer. Needless to say the conversation seemed to have headed to a hostile situation and he opened the door for me to leave. I have never dealt with a lawyer who acted the way he done. Not professional at all and my business will definitely not go to him anymore.

Flooring issues

I hired Joe to represent me in a lawsuit over a flooring issue and he was real nice until I paid him. He had everything he needed to file it in court. I call once a week to see if he filed it and in the second week he quit on me saying I must not be not be satisfied with his work. it cost me 750 for ...some letters.

GOT THE JOB DONE

My daughter was divorcing a very abusive and manipulative man, First we hired a lawyer that basically held her hand and said things like "it will be ok" "these things happens during a divorce" " lots of men act like this during a divorce". WRONG things got much worse and we were scared for my daughte...r's and grandchildren's safety. We met with Mr. Willard discussed our case and fired the first lawyer. Mr. Willard filed court orders and very soon the threats, fear and bullying soon stopped, of course this cost us several thousands dollars and the divorce took 2 years, but we dealt with a horrible man during a horrible divorce and now my daughter and grandchildren have a much better life. My daughter has sole legal custody and full physical custody of the children and yes the children are involved with their dad (he has limited visitation, but is working hard to maintain a relationship with the kids) Thanks to Mr. Willard, his legal team and the courts we all feel safe again. We felt so secure and confident in him, we have kept him on a retainer fee, just in case my family needs him for anything in the future.

Very Unprofessional and over priced

I hired Joe Willard for a contract dispute and real estate issue. I paid $5000 and didn't get 1 thing resolved. He wrote and billed me for several options in different courts even after we decided on 1 specific course of action. I am filing a complaint with the state bar because he refused to ref...und money that was used to double bill and refused to explain his billing when I asked. I would recommend you hire someone besides this guy if you want results and the value of your money. TWO THUMBS DOWN!

Be Aware

I hired Mr Willard as My Lawyer in October of 2012 for My child support case. I was made alot of promises that the case would go in My favor prior to Him collection My $2500.00. Once the check was cashed the promises seemed become less and less. I was paying $100 a week before He represented me. Now ...I pay $855 a month and I still cant see My Daughter. Then He forgot to send the court infomation to Department of Child Services, So currently DCS is holding My income tax check. He stated He would no longer help me unless I gave him another $2500.00
