Rich and his assistant, Shona, were wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. Of course one hopes they don't need to ever go through "the process" of involving attorneys, but dealing with insurance companies and hospitals is not an easy task and it quickly becomes overwhelming. After my a...ccident, I was taken to the hospital to be checked out and it was there that it was confirmed that I had a broken thumb. Needing surgery, I thought it would be a relatively straight forward procedure that I would be able to handle myself. Unfortunately, that was not the case and after hours upon hours of researching whether or not to hire an attorney, I realized that this was probably beyond my scope of expertise and that it would be extremely time consuming to try and figure it all out. He was not my emotional counselor but my legal counselor keeping me on track emotinally to cope with the legal battle. I had depended on my husband for 17 years as my rock and now I had to transfer that dependence, that need for help onto a stranger to do battle with the man I still loved. Rich did this. He accepted me where I was emotionally and in my spiritual beliefs. He did an amazing job. He helped with the cost, returned calls and e-mails, guided me through the process all of that which is expected he did well. He represented me in court, the last place I ever thought I would find myself and my husband, and he finished the battle as well as he started it. He was consistent and precise. When your life has turned upside down the last thing you need is someone to make it worse and he never did that. He never added more problems to what I had to deal with. He did his job well. I am forever grateful that he helped me close a very painful chapter in my life with ease and grace. Rich is what you hope and pray you can find in a lawyer to help you go through something you don't want to go through. He was my defender and champion. He is smart and sharp. He never let me down. I am forever grateful.

I was the one who filed for divorce. First of all I wish I had spoken with him months before beginning the process but alas, I did not. Tried to settle without attorneys but to no avail. Rich offered a free upfront consultation, which was nice. He was upfront about everything that could and ma...y happen. Communication was great. Emails and phone calls were returned quickly and with the information I had been seeking. I have been down this road before so I knew to be totally honest with Rich about my past and present in order to allow him to do the best job possible of representing me. I went in wanting what was best for my child 1st, then to be fair 2nd and 3rd to protect my small business and myself. If you want an attorney to tell you what you want to hear then Rich is NOT your guy. He is certainly not afraid to go to trial and does so regularly. The “big name” lawyers do NOT intimidate him. Many attorneys avoid the courtroom like the plague and only wish to settle. Not so with Rich! However, a trial is very expensive and he helped me to review cost and outcome options every step of the way. What a breath of fresh air to have an attorney not just trying to jack up his fees by going to trial. I loved that he gave me some money saving options by allowing me to assist with the preparation of the case. If it is possible at all to walk away from a divorce feeling that you “won” I have that feeling. Fast, efficient and very affordable. Much more so than the other lawyers I had spoken with. I could not be more pleased.
