Excellent Service
Excellent service by Ms. Shannahan who handled a probate case as well as family wills. Responsive to all questions and client requests. Unqualified recommendation.
"Melissa is an excellent attorney who is respected in the legal community by judges and lawyers alike. A fierce yet personable advocate in and out of the courtroom, Melissa is the type of attorney that you want in your corner. I would not hesitate to recommend Melissa to any family member or friend with a family law issue."
"I have known Melissa since we were law clerks together in the Alcovy Judicial Circuit. We decided to form Shannahan & Ware, LLC, which was a wonderful experience. We've since decided to part ways professionally, but I will jump at the chance to work with her again on cases in the future. Perhaps no other attorney knows Melissa's dedication to her clients and to doing the right thing better than I do. She cares deeply for those whom she represents, and her sense of fairness and justice is keen. Although I hope it doesn't happen anytime soon, this is one attorney whom I will certainly not underestimate if and when we find ourselves to be opposing counsel. Melissa has been a fierce advocate for children, and I would certainly recommend her as a guardian ad litem. I plan to ask for her specifically with many of my custody cases. Melissa's experience in family law also makes her a great mediator, and I will certainly use her services in this regard in the future as well."
