The first time she wanted to settle. We told her no, but she pushed it through anyway in spite of our constantly saying we wan...t to take it to court. At this point we had already gone through the grilling on the stand but she insisted on settling for the moment. When you’re frightened you do what they say you need to. But then, when court was scheduled once again, she insisted on mediation stating the judge would be unhappy with us if we didn’t at least try. She had demanded another several thousand dollars in advance above our initial bill which was already several thousand paid in advance. Once it was paid in full, she went to mediation and informed us that we needed to take the agreement or give her thousands more in order to take it to trial. So here we are, worse off than we were more than a year ago, out over $10,000 between what she charged and additional legal fees, and we got nothing we asked for while he got everything. AND our entire retirement savings is gone. (I’m 67). She wouldn’t respond to either calls or texts, and was constantly talking about needing us to give her more money. She also constantly talked about her personal life even while we were waiting to go into all meetings and the courtroom. Jason Black said he would represent her because of the above then said we needed to give HIM an additional $5000-. Is this who you want to represent you? RUN.

Jason killed it at my civil hearing regarding an ex friend that I loaned money to. Considering she thought she was an attorney this day, I am very thankful I got Jason at the last minute. I retained the law firm of CPS in Suwanee because I was given a recommendation from a friend. Unfortunately this was the worst thing I could have done. Most time I felt with Mr. Black and he was incompetent to no end. It turns out that he has only been practicing law for a couple years. He misfiled, ...didn’t file correctly in my case and was a detriment to me and my family. My recommendation would not hire CPS and definitely not have Mr Black on your case.
