Destin is the most unprofessional and least helpful person imaginable. She is unable to return phone calls or emails regardless of how many attempts to reach her. However, she is quick to reach out for payment after she ignores the inquires about your case. She does not take accountability for her ac...tions and is quick to place blame. She submitted my counter claim to the WRONG ATTORNEY and did not catch her mistake for over 3 months, and this caused monumental problems for my case. Upon being fired i requested my documents be sent to my new representation. My new attorney and I reached out for over 3 weeks requesting documents, and she neglected to respond or send documents. Eventually the documents were sent by Destin, but no accountability for her negligence was displayed. My new attorney did more in 1 week than Destin did in 1 year. Unprofessional, irresponsible and immature are putting it lightly. Stay away at all cost

When we hired Destin for my son's custody of his children and divorce she was a blessing to us and she stuck with us through a whole lot of stuff and then we had mediation and got everything taken care of and she did file the paperwork as she was supposed to but the judge has not signed it and then w...e have to go back to court in July and there's some type of paper has to be filed that we don't even know what it is and we cannot find our lawyer anywhere and we really don't know what to do it's like we've been ghosted so Destin if you read this please Dustin contact Christopher Wehunt he is your client I need you really bad you were so good I don't know what's going on which place contact us

I hired her payed her over 3 grand she ghosted me then lied saying she filed 30 days after my filing was up still nothing filed all lies she took my money and ran now no response for 3 weeks and is keeping my money from me when she's done nothing at all I had to retain new lawyer and a few lawyers ha...ve told me she's done this same thing to multiple people and her reputation is going down hill fast all around the worst attorney ever possible I've requested Moy money back for a month nothing just ghosted while she tries to take other people's money total crook she doesn't deserve one start she needs her license took for good

I never thought I would be ghosted by an attorney. Let alone Ghosted when she was hired to complete the court document for the legitizimation and child custody hearing. We have not heard from her since 3/13/24. We had our hearing on 2/28/24. it is now 5/13/24 and we still have not heard from her, the... email we received on 04/22/2024 was that her offices were relocating and we would be provided with the new numbers and followed up with immediately. THERE HAS BEEN NO COMMUNICATION. She was hired for our final hearing, and we provided her with all the documentation and recordings to show how mental unstable the mother was, and she did not use one single piece, or to try to show the court of her instability. We left that court hearing with the bare minimal of visitation rights and not to mention my partner who has a inunction of stalking against the mother of my children is being punished for protecting herself and is now forced to drop her injunction.
