Brett Davis Turner

Brett was very friendly and gave a sense of comfort that he had a good understanding of the law for this case. he also thought that he could help with the severity of the sentencing. this was do to the question and the information that he took at the first meeting that we had. he worked very quickly ...to get the information that was needed for the case. Also talked ahead of time with DA to help work on setting thing in motion. Brett is friendly, informed , professional. I would highly recommend him

This attorney was recommended by a bail bond agent. I called his office and left several messages with no call back. Finally a secretary said he was out but another attorney in the office could help. I met the other attorney at Mr. Turner's office and sent him full payment within a week thinking that... all was well. After a couple weeks of nothing happening and dealing with an attorney who seemed to not know anything about my case I called back and spoke to Brett Turner's secretary again. She had Brett Turner call me. He explained that even though I was calling his office the attorney I was given to just rented space from him. You can imagine my shock because I thought I was dealing with a group of attorneys in a law practice. He said if I wanted him to handle the case his fee was over twice as much but he would give me a break. At this point I was desperate because my trial date was approaching. I live out of state so I mailed him a check for the increased fee. Basically, that's the last I heard from him until he SHOWED UP LATE FOR MY COURT DATE!!! When he arrived it became obvious that he hadn't even done any preparation and was just then looking at my file in court. He negotiated a plea that had me avoid a DUI conviction but made me pay all the fines and undergo the punishment as if I had. He told me I had a full year to get everything paid and all the requirements met. The next day I was informed by a probation employee that wasn't the case and she was imposing a very onerous burden on me. I called Mr. Turner several times and finally got a call back but got NO HELP! Over a two or three month period I called several times but he would never talk to me or call me back. Finally when he did talk to me, even though he agreed that the requirements being imposed were not right, his "advice" was to just accept them and get it over with. My impression was that he didn't want to do any work and was reluctant to go against the people in the area that he deals with. In essence he made the well being of me, his client, subordinate to his relationship with people in the local system even though they were not acting correctly. When you have Mr. Turner on the phone (before you pay him) he does a good job of convincing you he will help. Good luck getting a call back after the check clears though.

I hired Brett Turner to handle a very difficult case for me and found that he was very knowledgeable and caring through the whole process. What was so amazing to me was how much he knew about both sides (the defendant and the plaintiff roles) in a court room. It was like he knew exactly what each sid...e was going to want, do or say. That in itself was very comforting to me cause I knew that he would be able to handle my situation in the right way and that was exactly what he did. I was extremely nervous and paranoid about my case and he was caring, confident and reassuring the whole time, which was very important to me. He was able to get all the results that I wanted and that we strived for. I can't tell you what a Godsend he was and how helpful he was. I know that God puts certain people in someones life for a reason and I was so glad that Brett was in mine at that horrible time when I really needed help.
