It’s always good to have a lawyer you can trust. There are too many lawyers out there not going above and beyond for their client, simply being a court appointed attorney with a larger paycheck. Most, not all, DAs these days do not care how good of a person you were before the charges. You’re just a number to them after being charged and they will do their best to destroy everything you knew by shooting for the heftiest charges possible. Bill cares about your story and who you are as a person. That’s saying a lot in the legal world. As a veteran and certified firearms instructor, I look at defense lawyers like a gun. Hopefully you never have to use it/them, but it’s better to have one in your back pocket just in case. Also, it’s better to get a quality lawyer, rather than a cheap one that may not work well (possibly at all) when the time comes to be needed. As long as he stays in practice, he will always be my go-to.
