Jason Albert Kim

Jason A. Kim, was born in St. Mary’s, Pennsylvania, on December 6, 1974, and was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 2000.  His family moved to Blue Ridge, Georgia in 1982.  He received a Bachelor of Arts, Cum laude, in English, with a minor in Philosophy from Toccoa Falls College in 1996, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Georgia in 2000.  While at Toccoa Falls College Mr. Kim was a member of the student government as Treasurer for one year, served as a resident assistant and was an editor for the student newspaper. While at the University of Georgia School of Law Mr. Kim clerked for the Clarke County Magistrate Court Judge and participated in the Lawschool Prosecutorial Clinic by working under the third year practice act at the Hall County District Attorney’s Office in 1999-2000.

Mr. Kim began practicing law in Athens, Georgia at the Law Office of Richard Jack in 2000 where he worked for three years until he began work with Bagwell & Corso in Gainesville, Georgia in 2003.  Mr. Kim handled general litigation matters at the Law Office of Richard Jack, with a concentration on insurance subrogation litigation.

At Bagwell and Corso, later Bagwell and Associates, Mr. Kim’s practice consisted largely of real estate transaction work along with continued work in general civil litigation and criminal defense.

In summer of 2007, Mr. Kim decided to start his own legal practice in Gainesville, Georgia and concentrate mostly on Real Estate transactions and general civil litigation.

Mr. Kim joined his practice with that of Samuel Bagwell in March 2010 starting the firm of Kim and Bagwell, LLC.
