Biography
With over a decade of experience as a trial lawyer, I am dedicated to providing top-tier legal services in Criminal Defense, Family Law & Divorce, Probate & Estate, Personal Injury, and Workmans Compensation. I also offer mediation and arbitration services, helping clients resolve conflicts efficiently outside of court.
As a lifelong resident of Vidalia, Georgia, I take great pride in serving the community I call home. I graduated from Vidalia Comprehensive High School, Georgia Southern University, and Florida Coastal School of Law. In addition to my legal practice, I served part-time as a Judge Advocate General Officer in the Georgia Army National Guard and am a proud United States Army Veteran.
I am happily married to Jessica Downie, and together we are raising our two wonderful children, a daughter named Nora and a son named Jack Jr. My commitment to both my family and my clients drives me to provide compassionate, effective legal representation.

Acquitall
Mr. Downie was my lawyer in a shoplifting case where I was accused of shoplifting from the local Wal-Mart. He was able to get the charges against me dropped.
