I have been practicing law since 2004, and take pride in making sure my clients are well represented, but also well informed of what we are doing on their behalf.  I prefer not to do business with someone who doesn't return phone calls, so we make it a point in my office to return calls if possible the same day, but at least by the following business day.  I started my practice with a large law firm representing individuals and companies on behalf of those individuals' and companies' insurance companies.  I represented companies who were being sued for negligence, along with individuals who were being sued for causing automobile accidents, all the while being paid by those companies' and individuals' insurance companies.  After a few years, I left that practice, and began using what I learned defending the insurance companies and their clients to represent individuals who were harmed by others.  Along the way, I've developed a specialty not only in automobile accidents, but also with speeding and other traffic citations, and misdemeanor and felony criminal defense.  As I practice now in a very small town in a rural area, I help clients with family law matters, probate matters, and I have represented and continue to represent cities and counties in liability matters.  In the last few years, I've been asked to sit as a municipal court judge by two cities in our area on a part time basis.  It has been a pleasure to preside over court, and utilize the knowledge I've gained over the last several years on the bench.  I've recently obtained certification as both a mediator and arbitrator, and enjoy the ability to help people resolve their disputes.  If you are looking for a well rounded attorney who understands the legal system and who is not afraid to enter a courtroom, please feel free to call my firm, and experience what it is like to be treated as an individual, and not as another name on a case file.

Very Pleased

I hired J. Keith Pollette to look into a SuperSpeeder ticket (the ticket that adds $200) I got on I-95 in McIntosh GA. 85 in 70 reduced to minimum infraction 1-5mph over. Overall very pleased, Christy was very friendly and informative throughout the process. My fees without representation would've been $180 for ticket and $200 for super speeder so $380 total. With Representation I paid $550 which is high but really I think of it like paying an extra $170 to make the ticket not raise my insurance rates, which to me was worth it. They also let me split my payments. P.S. Get your website up and running, I questioned the legitimacy when it was down, thankfully Christy allayed my doubts. Overall very satisfied.

I reside in Florida, but Mr Pollette,is the best attorney.If I need advice, I still email him, and he responds. If I resided in Georgia,or had a legal issue in Georgia,this is the attorney I would have,no doubt.Best attorney.

speeding

My son was caught speeding in GA in Jan 2012 doing 97mph in a 70mph zone and Keith and his firm got it reduced to 87mph, no points on his FL license and no court visit. All court fees and fines were paid, happy times!! Jump ahead to 2017 when my son moved to CA, took the CA DMV driving test, passed and obtained his license a few days later, result! Then the state of CA notified my son 3 weeks later saying that because his driving license privileges had been suspended in GA he had 30 days to get clearance from the Georgia DMV. He received the letter 3 weeks after passing his CA driving test, meaning he only had 4 working days to respond. After many exhausting hours onto the GA, FL and CA DMW's( who by the way said everything was OK, go figure) it was sorted. Its amazing how this things can come up and bite you at the worst possible time!! I hope we don't have to deal with these inefficient government departments again! A huge thank you to J. Keith and his team.

I-95 Speed trap ticket!

Around Oct 2016 I was caught in that speed trap in McIntosh County GA, seeing as the fine was only $212 dollars I just went ahead and paid it and forgot about it. Then the state of NC notified me that because of the ticket in GA they would be suspending my lisence for 30 days. Thanks to J. Keith he was able to have the ticket reopened and amended down to 64 in a 60 and have it quickly sent to the North Carolina DMV which made the suspension completely go away, all within 24 hours of me hiring him. I just wish that I had contacted him sooner to avoid the headache of dealing with NC DMV. J. Keith and his staff were very professional, helpful and went above and beyond to assure that I was taken care of every step of the way.

Mr. Pollette handled my divorce case with the utmost dignity and professionalism. He was careful to research and thoroughly review all information pertaining to my case. Mr. Pollette is an outstanding attorney who has worked very hard and deligently on my case. I have known Mr. Pollette for many years as a classmate and as a positive citizen in our community. Mr. Pollette was the second attorney that has worked on my case and he has done everything we set out to do and more. He has really been a blessing to me as he has reunited me and my son. I approached the law office of Mr. J. Keith Pollette in regards to drafting a will. His office staff was prompt in scheduling an appointment at the earliest convenience, at which time I met with Mr. J. Keith Pollette. I had many concerns about drafting a will, with respect to my family, assets, and properties, etc., and Mr. J. Keith Pollette was thorough in explaining what needed to be done to protect my family and property in the event something were to happen to me. I left his consultation feeling very confident in the action we had taken, and have full confidence in Mr. J. Keith Pollette in any future legal matters.
