Aisha represented us in filing a grandparent visitation petition which eventually went to trial. Throughout the entire process, from the initial consultation through the end of the trial and obtaining an approved court order granting us a generous visitation schedule, Aisha proved herself to be co...mpassionate, honest, hardworking, extremely knowledgeable and approachable. She seems to view her job as acting as the vehicle to work with her clients to achieve their goals, but also to educate them and to encourage them to work toward a solution through mediation whenever possible, and realizes how traumatic going to trial can be for families, even while relishing the process herself because that is what she is trained to do. I personally always felt a million times better after meeting with or speaking on the phone with Aisha. She was always there for us, making sure we had whatever numbers we needed to be able to contact her at all times in case of emergencies, and never once failed to answer any of our many questions with thoughtful, deliberate, and detailed care until our queries had been fully answered. We feel that Aisha is one of those people who is extremely good at her job, simply because she is doing what she loves to do - helping families in crisis. In closing, I will say that when we began this very harrowing experience we were counselled by virtually everyone who knew of our situation to avoid hiring an attorney and going to court, and we were extremely reluctant to do so having never imagined that we would ever be in such a position. It soon became clear, however, that after allowing our grandchild to live with and bond with us as an infant and spend a significant amount of time with us for the first several years of her life, she was never going to be allowed to see us again; and so we felt we had no other choice.
