We used the law firm recently for our closing. They were hired through the lender . We kept asking them for their fees and ALTA and they never provided one.. just an hour before the closing they put the attorney cost as 10,000 which we had to pay because we did not have any options. We felt so cheate...d because the cost we were initially made aware from lender was around 1000 and that is what in generally paid. Also, we had our attorney for closing and Titke..so just for reviewing the documents and some small work, they charged 10k. When we tried calling, they were not reachable

Jon has done my real estate legal work since 2001 and I have always been pleased with the results. He's efficient, effective and responds quickly to my needs. Due to his practical experience in real estate and, in particular, real estate litigation, he identifies issues that other attorneys may not see or understand the importance when it comes to enforcement of the terms and conditions of the agreements. While I do not look for litigation, it is comforting to know that if I have to go to litigation to protect the integrity and intent of my agreements, Jon has covered my bases. He is an excellent negotiator and knows how far to push to get what I want or need. He is also savvy enough to know when he's gone as far as he can then he stops to contact me, inform me of the facts, and lets me make a business decision on the risk that I may be accepting. Bottom line he is a deal maker. I'm very pleased with Jon Gottlieb and I have and will continue to recommend him to anyone.
