I am a landlord and hire Lisa to get eviction for my tenant since she did not pay me rent for two months. Everthing looks ok until the court date. I am a littble bit late and Lisa have some time talk to the tenant. Then everything is changed and she seems on tenant's side. Lisa keep persuading me to ...accept the tenant's partial rent although I expressed clearly I do not want any of tenant's payment. I want to take possession of the house since this is the 4th time I filed eviction for the same tenant last 10 months. I have full-time job and my performance is affected by this rent house, and I do not want to listen tenant's story any more -- today mum die tomorrow sister car accident etc. But the Lawyer Lisa seems on keep saying tenant is sick, and I should accept tenant partial rent. Before the judge, Lisa did not express my intention - not accept any payment and take posssession of the house. I just got judgement which means if tenant pay all rent, I think tennat might stay.
