Biography
Beth is a workers' compensation lawyer who was born and raised in Ohio before moving west to attend the University of Arizona for both her undergraduate and law school education. During law school Beth worked as a clerk for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office in both the downtown and Santa Monica branches, gaining valuable trial experience by conducting hundreds of preliminary hearings in Superior Court. Following her graduation from law school she moved to California and began practicing workers' compensation defense work in 2001.
She moved to Atlanta to be closer to family in 2006 worked for two defense firms before launching Gearhart Law Group in 2013, which has long been a goal. During her time as a workers' compensation defense attorney, Beth participated in hundreds of hearings, settlement conferences and mediations. Beth knows how the insurance company will handle your claim and how they will value it come settlement time. Beth now uses that knowledge to aggressively advocate for her clients while being a compassionate listener. Beth does not rely on support staff to handle your case. You will speak with her personally throughout your claim. Beth believes that communication is key!
When not representing injured workers, Beth likes to spend time with her husband, two children and race bikes. She's been injured too (racing bikes!) and knows it's no fun being hurt. Her goal is to get you back to enjoying your life.
