Katherine M. Collins

Katherine is a proud member of the State Bar of Georgia and a dedicated family law attorney. She helps families across Georgia navigate divorce, custody, visitation, and other family law matters with compassion, clarity, and strong legal advocacy. As a certified Guardian ad Litem, Katherine also assists courts in investigating disputed custody matters and providing informed recommendations that serve the best interests of the children involved.

Katherine graduated magna cum laude and as Salutatorian of her class. During law school, she earned multiple CALI Awards for Excellence for attaining the highest grade in several courses, received the Dean’s Fellowship Scholarship, and was voted by her peers as Most Hardworking and Most Prepared for Class. She was an active member of the Family Law Society, OUTLaws & Allies, the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers, and Phi Alpha Delta. Katherine was also invited to join the Law Journal, where her scholarly work was published.

Before becoming an attorney, Katherine spent years working as a family law paralegal, gaining extensive hands-on experience in family law matters. She is now privileged to serve as an Associate Attorney with Clark Lowery & Lumpkin, representing clients in all areas of family law, including child custody, divorce, modification, and contempt actions.

As both a stepmother and adoptive mother, Katherine understands the emotional and practical challenges families face during major transitions. Her approach combines empathy with strategic legal representation — ensuring that every client, and every child, is truly heard.
