My wife and I had a truly amazing experience will Ms. Irmina Rivero Owens. I've previously had several interactions with other attorneys in the past were I felt manipulated / used. To the contrary Ms. Owens was exceptional, completely trustworthy, knowledgeable, well connected, and most importantly... honest( which in my opinion is a rare quality in this profession). Furthermore we felt that she genuinely cared about our well-being , and her upmost concern was the best situational outcome for our family. Additionally my wife went from having a deportation order enacted by USCIS to acquiring a permanent US Residency. We have personally recommended several acquaintances, friends and family to her practice. And we would strongly recommend any individual who is actively seeking immigration law council to retain her.

The lawyer Irmina Rivero Owens put my daughter in a very precarious situation that we had to live with from 2007 through 2012. She was very irresponsible in assuring us my daughter could change to an F-1 status and after this was denied she did what I consider the worst: She sent me a letter suggesti...ng me to send my daughter back to our home country, Ms Rivero NEVER mentioned the Child Status Protection Act and she NEVER mentioned that because my daughter's A-2 Visa, she was protected from any bar. Had I followed her erroneous advice, I would have ruined my daughter's life forever!. Lawyers such as Ms. Rivero Owens should NOT be allowed to practice Immigration Law. Thank you for reading this!
