Terrible firm. They work with no sense of urgency and get mad at you for calling them because they neglect to keep you updated. I think they forget they work for us, the people, and not the other way around. I completed my physical therapy around May/June of 2015 from a car accident I was hit in. In ...October of that same year the civil case involving the person who hit me and I was settled. I constantly asked my attorney Sonia Mahoney about what steps needed to be taken to claim my reward and I was told she would handle it, that she was waiting on a response from the opposing insurance company. I called at least once every other week and either I never got a call back or was told that she has yet to hear back from the insurance company. After months of this repeated pattern of not being called back at the scheduled time or getting the same message about not hearing back from the opposing insurance company, I took it upon myself to contact the insurance company. I called the insurance company and I was told by them that they not once heard from Sonia Mahoney and they proceeded to mail out my check to the Hart and Associates office that same week back in January 2016. It is currently the end of March of 2016 and I have yet to receive my check from Hart and Associates. Honestly this is the absolute worst service I have ever received from ANY business. I would NOT recommend anyone to use this law firm. I've stressed how bad I needed my reward and was even willing to take less just to speed up the process because they insisted on trying to lower my medical bills by $200 but I was willing to forgo that just to get my check and be done with them. Suffice to say, I've yet to receive my reward.
