Great attorney

Attorney Suggs is a stand up lawyer. My son was facing a Sexual Assault case. He understood our situation and provided us with sound advise. Attorney Suggs was very flexible and family friendly, he took time to speak. Throughout each level i.e., Pre-trial Hearing, Motions Hearing, he was very confi...dent and displayed excellent knowledge of the law. Provide him what he needs so he can work for you. He's no TV lawyer, he deals with the facts and ensures others around him understand that. Dont think for a minute he's gonna babysit you, he will provide you what you need. My son was found not guilty to the charges that were before him. What a relief to him and our entire family. The jail time he was facing was real. The whole experience has taught me to never walk into a court room without experienced representation. Thank you Attorney Suggs for being the man you are! Kay W.

Professional misconduct

This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2006.

Review Panel Reprimand issued in GA, 2006

updated on 08/10/2012

This means the attorney did something wrong, but the Bar did not suspend the lawyer. Typically in this case, the lawyer's poor behavior is exposed to the public in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.

Eldridge’s comment:

“unfortunately, this reprimand was made by the opposing Attorney because I would not back down from defending my client.”

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline
This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2006
Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
