Alyssa is an associate attorney with Butler Law Firm. She specializes in personal injury, including all kinds of accidents, wrongful death, and sexual assault (including civil rape claims). She has experience in every stage of litigation and has tried several cases to verdict. At Butler Law Firm, they prepare every case for trial. If they take a case, they expect to win.
Alyssa has been named a 2019 Super Lawyers Rising Star (only the top 2.5% of all lawyers receive this recognition) and was a 2017-2018 GTLA LEAD Class participant (only 15 selected from a large pool of applicants). She is licensed to practice in both Georgia and South Carolina.
Prior to joining Butler Law Firm, Alyssa worked as an interim clerk for the Honorable Steve Jones, U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of Georgia, and as an associate with Conley Griggs Partin.
Alyssa attended the University of North Carolina for college and then Emory University School of Law. She graduated from both with honors. While at Emory, she served as on the executive boards for the Emory Moot Court Society and the Emory Public Interest Committee.
During college, Alyssa volunteered as a crisis hotline responder and at the Orange County Rape Crisis Center. It was these experiences and the desire to help individuals suffering through unspeakable tragedies that drew her to plaintiff’s work. Alyssa has built a reputation of working hard, working fast, and always going the extra mile for her clients.
