In 2014 I was the victim of a horrific accident in which I was the pedestrian and was hit while standing on the sidewalk. I was a pre-med student at Emory University at the time. I suffered massive injuries including 4th degree burns in my legs. I spent a lot of time in the hospital immediately after... the accident and then went to various medical providers and had to take a leave from school for the semester.
