Justin L. Goodman

I had the opportunity to hire Justin back in 2020. I had never had legal trouble, and a DUI arrest caught me off guard. I interviewed over the phone and in person with a few other very well known firms. These men seemed very knowledgeable, but also seemed to be talking a a bit over my head, and... focusing on potential technicalities. As each day passed from my arrest, and subsequent night in jail, I was coming to terms that this would be mainly about mitigating the consequences and owning up to my poor decision to drive that night. From the initial phone call Justin was a breath of fresh air. I really appreciated that this was a bright guy who had gone to Emory for undergrad and had then worked in DA offices for Clayton County twice, and up in Mass. What I could gather is if I wanted to mitigate my eminent penalties I would need someone who could speak in kind as my advocate to the Prosecutors. In our meeting in person he explained that I could call or text and reach him directly. Other big shot firms I met had secretaries and buffers. I appreciated this, and made every attempt to not abuse this privilege. Justin always kept me apprised at every step of the way with potential outcomes. We ended up with an outcome which I deemed more than satisfactory given the circumstances of my ordeal.

My case was in Rockdale County Superior Court. My case was originally a felony and was reduced to a traffic violation, thanks to Justin king eye and knowledge of the law. I was very happy with the out come. He went toe for toe , head to head he didn’t bend nor fold and got me the results that Iam ha...ppy with today. Thank you Justin, thank you.

I was cited foe a BUI (Boating Under Influence) in GA waters. Little did I know this was a criminal offense, so after thoughtful consideration and research, consulted and definitely hired Justin Goodman as my attorney. I immediately knew after the first consult call, his knowledge and record was a le...ading factor in hiring him. After it was all said and done, Justin was able to work with the prosecutor and my charges were decreased to Reckless Operation of a vessel. All I had to do was pay a fine and it was all finally behind me. I truly suggest if you have any law needs, give Justin a chance, you will NOT be disappointed.

TL;DR: I'm in my mid-twenties, and I was the defendant in my 2-count misdemeanor case. I had an issue with one of two charges, but I accept/ed responsibility for the other charge. That is where my case begins... — I hired Mr. Goodman between January and February 2019 expecting all proceedings to co...nclude within 3 to 4 months. Little did I know my case would endure an unprecedented escalation to State court given what I thought was an open and shut case. After a grueling year though, my case was heard in December 2019. In December 2019, Mr. Goodman was able to present a watertight case to the State prosecutor and judge, thus swiftly ending our painful fight. He was able to execute such a deal despite my rather hands-off communication with him during the entirety of the case. I was enduring medical matters during the case–only making Mr. Goodman's job of defending me more difficult. Yet... He understood, and for that, I am forever grateful. --- So... In short! I'm not sure whether I'm more satisfied with my case's result, or whether I'm still surprised at the tolerance and professionalism that Justin has provided me throughout 2019. Mr. Goodman is no longer my attorney, but he still is and will remain, my role model in practicing patience, empathy, sympathy, and most importantly fairness among one another. Anyway, if you've read this far, I know it seems like I just threw out a vague case summary with not even constructive criticism to speak of, but I have NONE! So, please do not take my words lightly if life seems rather dark for you at the moment. Therefore, if and when you need an attorney; and IF you have any sense of self-preservation, humility, or whatever else–don't skip over Mr. Goodman as he surely lives up to his last name. Thank you, Justin. From my family to friends and neighbors, you are a saint. P.S. Mr. Goodman doesn't BS, and I'm sure he doesn't like hearing it either. The sooner he knows your story, the sooner he will fight tooth and nail for the sake of what I believe is the power of truth no matter how difficult.
