Never having had any issues with the law previously, I was very concerned about who best to contact regarding my legal issues. Justin Goodman is amazing! I contacted his office looking for an attorney to represent my nephew with his DUI case. Mr Goodman took my call, research my nephew's case, while I was on the phone, he researched my nephew's case and discussed, in deal. He also provide information to me that I was not ...aware of. TL;DR: I'm in my mid-twenties, and I was the defendant in my 2-count misdemeanor case. I had an issue with one of two charges, but I accept/ed responsibility for the other charge. That is where my case begins... — I hired Mr. Goodman between January and February 2019 expecting all proceedings to co...nclude within 3 to 4 months. Little did I know my case would endure an unprecedented escalation to State court given what I thought was an open and shut case. After a grueling year though, my case was heard in December 2019. In December 2019, Mr. Goodman was able to present a watertight case to the State prosecutor and judge, thus swiftly ending our painful fight. He was able to execute such a deal despite my rather hands-off communication with him during the entirety of the case. I was enduring medical matters during the case–only making Mr. Goodman's job of defending me more difficult. Yet... He understood, and for that, I am forever grateful. --- So... In short! I'm not sure whether I'm more satisfied with my case's result, or whether I'm still surprised at the tolerance and professionalism that Justin has provided me throughout 2019. Mr. Goodman is no longer my attorney, but he still is and will remain, my role model in practicing patience, empathy, sympathy, and most importantly fairness among one another. Anyway, if you've read this far, I know it seems like I just threw out a vague case summary with not even constructive criticism to speak of, but I have NONE! So, please do not take my words lightly if life seems rather dark for you at the moment. Therefore, if and when you need an attorney; and IF you have any sense of self-preservation, humility, or whatever else–don't skip over Mr. Goodman as he surely lives up to his last name. The sooner he knows your story, the sooner he will fight tooth and nail for the sake of what I believe is the power of truth no matter how difficult.

There are few things more stressful and despairing than being introduced to the justice system via a DUI arrest. Unfortunately, I was introduced this way. I started making phone calls almost immediately after my long weekend in jail, met with several lawyers, but quickly chose Justin Goodman to repre...sent me. In our initial meeting, Justin walked me through the workings of the entire process, reviewed my case, and discussed possible defenses and realistic outcomes. He took note of my criteria for an "ideal" situation, understood my priorities, answered my questions, and lifted the burden of what seemed like impending doom. Throughout the negotiation process, Justin and his staff were available if I had questions or concerns, and kept me informed on key dates, events, and new information. He took the time to make sure I understood every step of the process and spelled things so that I could make informed decisions. He was truly at my disposal, often answering questions that I had already asked 5 times. Business is obviously good, but in any given conversation, you are the center of his attention. Justin was able to successfully negotiate my DUI, Hit & Run/Failure to Render Aid, Reckless Driving, Failure to Maintain Lane, Improper Lane Change down to a Reckless charge, general moving violation and community service. Justin not only far exceeded my initial expectations, but also left the judge impatiently waiting as he negotiated a (literal) last minute change to my deal as I requested it. He owned the courtroom. I hired Justin to get me the best deal possible, and not only did he do that, but he also gave me peace of mind throughout the entire process. In my opinion, that is invaluable. This process is so overwhelming and complicated, looking back, I can't imagine not having Justin at my defense. If you find yourself in legal trouble, no matter your financial situation, your skepticism, I recommend you at least have a consultation with Justin about your options.

My case was in Alpharetta. I had got into some trouble with the law for a pending DUI case. I called all around Atlanta, and I must say Justin was the first person who seemed to genuinely care. Key word being genuine. He took the time to listen to my story always kept in touch throughout the process.... He did not over deliver on anything. He was upfront about how the case could turn out and I was glad. He was always ready to talk whenever I had any questions and even gave his own personal contact so you can reach him at anytime. In the end I was convicted of a Reckless Driving and I could not have asked for a better result. My license was saved and I am back on the road ready to make better decisions from this learning experience. I had some issues with paying high lawyer fees upfront but he was also very accommodating with this as well. We were able to work out a payment plan and I am almost done paying this off. The whole process was great. 10/10 hopefully I never have to call a lawyer again, but if I do Justin will be on speed dial.
