Personal Injury from a Dog Attack

Graham was recommended to us by our personal lawyer having worked with his office in the past on other injury cases. We made contact with Graham and discussed the details of the injuries my wife received from being attacked by a dog while on a walk in our neighborhood. We have a leash law where we li...ve. A neighbor’s dog jumped a fence an attacked my wife causing her to fall and break her hip and femur. Graham was excellent to work with and guided and instructed us through the process of filling a liability lawsuit to cover the expenses and to receive a settlement for her injuries. He was always available to us to answer questions and to give us the best legal advice in dealing with her case. I highly recommend Graham to represent anyone that has received injury or personal damage resulting from an incident through no fault of their own. He is a top notch lawyer with a magnitude of legal knowledge and experience in dealing with injury cases. 5 star +

ADA Discrimination Case

Mr Scofield helped me to turn a very bad situation with my former employer into a win for me. He is very knowledgeable about ADA issues, and helped me to navigate the negotiations with my employer. I am confident that he kept me from losing my job, and he was then able to negotiate a settlement quick...ly and efficiently. I always had the feeling that he cared about me as a person, not just as a client.

Older worker targeted by employer

I am an over-50 man with some health issues. I was persecuted by my employer in an effort to force me to quit. Graham Scofield intervened on my behalf and negotiated an amicable settlement that included disability pay, health coverage and severance pay, as well as payment for career training. I was i...n no condition to do this for myself, and Mr. Scofield was a valuable advocate. He is very knowledgeable about labor issues, particularly as they relate to the Americans with Disabilities Act and related laws.

Excellent Employment Law Attorney

Excellent employment law attorney with a good understanding of contracts. He kept me informed through the process and was a skilled negotiator. He also had fair billing with a strong worth ethic and commitment to the case.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
