Biography
Steven Jackson was born in Hartford, Connecticut, and grew up in Sandy Springs, Georgia. After graduating from Riverwood High School in 1983, he attended Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana where he earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History. He attended law school at the Georgia State University College of Law in Atlanta, Georgia and was admitted to the Georgia Bar in 1991. Steven began practicing law in 1991, and honed his trial skills in the courtroom as an assistant Public Defender at the Fulton County Defender of the Indigent from 1992 - 1994. After gaining this invaluable experience, Steve shifted his attention to civil litigation, and he opened his current law office in 1995. Steven Jackson is admitted to practice law in all Magistrate, State and Superior courts in Georgia, as well as the Northern District of Georgia. Steven’s practice also includes appeals to the Georgia Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of Georgia.
Steven Jackson is passionate about protecting the rights of individuals who are victims of both negligence and the intentional improper conduct of others leading to injury through no fault of their own. Mr. Jackson has spent many years fighting insurance companies who attempt to deny claimants the benefits and compensation that they are rightfully entitled to for their injuries and other losses. It has been Steve’s mission, for many years, to provide outstanding representation to his clients that results in his clients receiving the fullest extent of benefits available to them.
When Steve isn’t working to protect the rights of his clients, he enjoys spending his time with his wife and two daughters, spends time running and cycling, and he is active in his community serving as a volunteer in both aging services and Family and Children’s Services, and he enjoys traveling and skiing with his family.
