For nearly two decades F. Skip Sugarman has worked closely with clients on sophisticated litigation matters at both the state and federal levels. His practice includes traditional trust and estates cases; fiduciary litigation involving partnerships and small businesses; as well as employment cases. Though going to trial is a last resort for many, having someone with advanced experience presenting before judges and juries enhances one’s position in the midst of a civil dispute.
Skip graduated summa cum laude with his J.D. from Georgia State University School of Law. Upon graduation, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jack T. Camp of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and the Honorable Frank M. Hull of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He also co-authored the article Georgia’s New Probate Code, 13 Ga. St. U.L. Rev. 605 (1997), with Mary F. Radford.
Skip serves as Managing Partner of Bloom Sugarman and has been recognized as a Super Lawyer by Super Lawyers magazine as well as one of Georgia Trend’s Legal Elite.
