Michael L. Werner... Have I told him lately that I love him?? Probably a million times more than he'd like to hear! ;-) Mike.. a friend first, for almost a decade, became my attorney nearly 3 years ago. I endured 4 major surgeries, rigorous physical therapy, loads of diagnostic tests, injections for pain management, a concussion, financial stress. I was drained, to a molecular level, and sure, time passed, yet for me, it felt as though I'd be forever trapped in inertia. Frantic.. more often than not, and in physical pain to some degree most days, I didn't feel I could persevere. Mike, however, did not waver. He never allowed a towel to be thrown or surrender flag to be flown. He fought for me, even as my own fight had expired. His integrity and professionalism was always above reproach. I was not easy to deal with, and though we didn't always agree, and I fussed and fumed.. He answered those frantic calls, emails, and texts with care and concern.
